The 5'9'' 177 pound junior also visited Toledo, Akron, Cincinnati and Central Michigan.

Solon (12-1 last year) opens their season on Friday hosting Shaker Heights (1-9 in 2009). This will be the opener for both Kyle and LB verbal Jovon Johnson.

From that footage Ted, it looks as if Kyle has some quick feet. it doesn't look as if he is 177lbs. there does he? . Wait untill he gets into a real weight lifting facility , and has a big line in front of him . He looks as if he has some promise. It is going to be nice to follow some of the new guys along their senoir season. starting this week! thanks Ted

Solon football team wants to continue succuess.

Article mentions the Mayfield game at the end of September will be broadcast on STO.

Lot of good stuff in the Cleveland Plain Dealer for high school football.

Top 40 high school football players from Northeast Ohio 2010.

Kyle checks in at #24, in a region loaded with D1 talent. Several of our offers and former recruits listed. Some of the guys we have offered that are still on the board:

3.Shane Wynn
4.Cardale Jones
23.Percy Johnson
35.Aaron Macer (who looks like he'll be starting a blog ,surely influenced by the writing stylings of former Twinsburg standout Jeffrey Fitzwater :) ).

Pretty good debut for the two future Cats. Three TD's between the two of them it what appears to be limited action.

I'm ticked Glenville/Iggy aren't playing Week 1 anymore... I never need an excuse to watch all that talent on one field, and the fact that we are going after Cardale is more then enough of an excuse if I even needed one!

ESPN has updated their grade of Kyle, and now evalute him as a 71. Ben Russell is a 78, and Jacob Welter is a 74.

Solon 42, Worthing Kilbourne 13.

Next up for Solon is a game at 1-1 Mentor. Mentor is coming off a 38-17 win at Strongsville. Mentor was #6 prior to their win in the Cleveland Plain Dealer top 25 last week.

EDIT:
Solon's game against Mentor will be shown on tape delay on Sportstime Ohio Friday night after the Indians game.

No change in the new Cleveland Plain Dealer top 25. Solon remains at #2, Mentor remains at #6. Mentor is 1-1, and their loss was to #3 St. Edward.
