Macer played baseball on my little brother's baseball team back in the day.

He was a remarkably athletic kid but hadn't quite mastered the art of pitching. One game I witnessed him throw a fastball literally over the backstop. I still have no idea how he managed that.

Defense wins championships. If Ohio can become known for fun, fast, turnover loving defense the cats should recruit well. Now howse about someone to plug the middle?

In terms of all MAC schools and, more particularly, how we've done in the prior 3-4 four years, I'm guessing that our recruiting results are pretty robust this year.  Anyone have any specific thoughts on that?

Seems that a staff with tentacles and a recent history of winning helps.

dude, the 'Ohio commits' threads re recruits for the class of 2011 need to be pinned at the top.

I don't have the "power" to do that.....Ted does have a list of commits at the bottom of his recruiting board.......maybe one thread of all commits on both offense and defense that we could add to (hopefully not subtract from) like they've done on the ranking threads on the football forum could be arranged.

Not among Doc's DL wishlist just yet, but Cincinnati Wyoming is kicking off against Edgewood right now on FSN Cincinnati.  Ohio has offered both Tony Davis and Eric Price on the Wyoming DL.

Price has offers from Ohio, Toledo, Buffalo, WMU, Memphis, and Kent St.

Davis has offers from Ohio, Toledo, BGSU, WMU, Kent St, Minnesota, and Buffalo.

Actually Davis was on for a long time and Price was the next in line....would love to have one or both.
